The Organisation
Holiday Rental Group Inc. (HRG) has been established by a group of concerned owners/managers/agents to address the issues being raised by the GCCC Short Term Accommodation Task Force

We are a not-for-profit lobby group based on the Gold Coast

We are inviting members to join the organisation to consult with our committee to establish these guidelines and to lobby local and State government in an effort to prevent banning and licence restrictions for Holiday Houses

Mission Statement
Holiday Rental Group Gold Coast (HRG) was formed by a group of owners/managers/agents to establish a system of Self Regulation and a Code of Practice for Holiday Homes on the Gold Coast.

We wish to do this in a manner that works co-operatively with and educates government and community to enable them to understand the benefits of Holiday Houses so they can be valued and supported as a vital sector of the Gold Coast Tourism Community

Objectives
To represent owners/managers/agents and related stakeholders in our industry

To consult with our stakeholders regarding issues, concerns and procedures and to express those to relevant governing bodies including Local and State government and Tourism groups

To promote and protect  the interests and benefits of holiday house rental properties in our region

To ensure tenants repect the rights of other residents to quiet enjoyment of their properties and to establish clear standards of social behaviour when holidaying in these properties

To liaise with other like minded organisations in Queensland and other states to ensure laws and regulations of our industry are fair and equitable

To show a clear difference between responsible and ethical owners and managers and those who are operating outside community expectations and laws

To educate owners and managers on the legal and ethical requirements for effective operation of holiday houses

To implement and encourage the use of effective management methods to ensure holiday houses are operated at a high standard

To employ and encourage Self Regulation methods and procedures that will help our members and stakeholders become recognised as quality holiday house providers
